The Battery Pack holds 1-2 EN-EL3e Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries - effectively doubling your total shooting time or can hold a AA Battery Holder (included) so users can use AA batteries as a power backup.  Battery Pack provides includes a vertical-grip shutter release button for taking pictures in vertical orientation. You can use one or two EN-EL3e battery in the grip. It has a tripod socket.
